Strategic Coaching

You don't need a better plan. You need better discernment to build one.

The Strategic Coaching program at Shekut Strategies is an eight-month 1:1 engagement built on the Strategic Discernment Method. It develops the founder’s capacity to evaluate their own business — and their own decision-making — with rigor, clarity, and something most founders are short on: a reliable signal about what’s actually driving the decisions they’re making.

This is not personal development work dressed up as business coaching. It is not a mindset reset or a values realignment retreat. It is structured, developmental, and grounded in financial reality alongside psychological reality.

What This Engagement Develops

The Seven Pillars of the Strategic Discernment Method

The eight-month arc is organized around seven dimensions of discernment that most founders have never developed systematically — even the most accomplished ones.

  • Pillar 1: Regulated Leadership

Discernment under activation. How to read your own signal when the business is stressing you — and how to distinguish the voice of your values from the noise of urgency, shame, or fear. This is where most founders' decision quality breaks down. It's also where we start.

  • Pillar 2: Strategic Architecture

Business model refinement. Offer clarity. Capacity-based scaling. What are you actually selling, to whom, at what margin, and at what cost to you personally? Many founders have never fully mapped this.

  • Pillar 3: Financial Intelligence

Cash flow literacy. Revenue modeling. Risk calibration. And the number most founders have never calculated: the "enough" number — what your business actually needs to produce for your life to work. Not what would be impressive. What would be enough.

  • Pillar 4: Social Load Orientation

Every founder has a social load — the amount of relational engagement their work requires. Most businesses are built without any accounting for it. This pillar maps your real social load needs and limits, and redesigns your model accordingly

  • Pillar 5: Relational Capital

Your most undervalued business asset is your relational network — and your most underexamined business liability is the same thing. This pillar develops the capacity to discern which relationships are strategic assets, which are drains, and where relational blind spots are shaping business decisions.

  • Pillar 6: Marketing Discernment

Marketing literacy. Understanding how your personality, wiring, and brand identity best align with your strategy. Reevaluating your target market through the lens of discernment — who actually needs what you do, and where they are. Your marketing plan should reflect who you actually are, not who you thought you needed to be to get clients.

  • Pillar 7: Applied Integration

AI as analytical support. Decision labs. Live case evaluation. You'll learn to use AI tools as thinking partners — not for shortcuts, but for the kind of scenario modeling and assumption-stress-testing that most founders simply don't do. This pillar is about integrating everything developed in Pillars 1–6 into the way you actually work.

The Program Structure

  • Duration = 8 Months

  • Format = 1:1,Virtual

  • Session Frequency = 2 sessions per month, 60 minutes each

  • Investment = $700/month ($5,600 total; $5,000 paid in full)

  • Deliverables = Strategic Discernment Baseline; refined business model; written summaries at key phases

  • Prerequisite = Prior self-awareness work preferred but not required.

Optional Between Session and Post-Program Support

For clients who want additional coaching support during the program, individual 60-minute sessions are available on an as-needed basis at $350/session — separate from and in addition to the two monthly program sessions, up to 2 additional sessions per month.

After program completion, these sessions remain available for clients who want ongoing support without committing to the Mastermind.

Is This Coaching or Therapy?

  • Coaching. The Strategic Coaching program is a professional coaching engagement, not a psychotherapy or clinical counseling service. Coaching is not regulated in the same way as therapy, and this program does not diagnose, treat, nor provide mental health care. Therapy also looks at the individual and requires a diagnosis of what is “wrong” with the client/entrepreneur. Coaching starts from an assumption of mental wellness and helps people determine the best fit for their business plan based on their personality, abilities, values and preferences.

  • My clinical background — LCPC and SEP credentials, 25 years of working with high-functioning people under stress — informs how I understand the psychology of founder decision-making. It does not make this therapy. The work is focused on your business, your decisions, and your discernment. Not your history.

If you're currently in therapy and are also a founder, coaching and therapy can run in parallel — they serve different functions. If you're not currently in therapy and you're curious about that distinction, I'm happy to discuss it during intake.

Who Is This Program For?

  • ‍Founders at any stage — launching something new after years in corporate or professional life, restructuring an existing business, or running something that’s working on paper but not quite right in practice

  • High-functioning, high-engagement thinkers — founders who have learned to outpace their own discernment and are starting to feel the cost

    ‍ ‍

  • Founders in identity transition: the business is shifting, the person is shifting, and the two aren't in sync

    ‍ ‍

  • Founders who have tried generic business coaching and found it too shallow — or who found it useful but want something that goes deeper into the architecture of their own decision-making

    ‍ ‍

  • Founders being encouraged by someone close to them to get outside support — and who are genuinely open to it, not just agreeing to show up

    ‍ ‍
